What game? We mean you’re game! Here at Spragg’s, we offer custom meat processing services. You can bring your deer, elk, or moose to us and we will get it ready for you to store and consume all year long.
In years past, we used paper wrap to pack your meat, with the option to upgrade to a vacuum seal, but things are changing and it’s just in time for hunting season!
It’s been one of our goals this year to switch over all of our packaging, providing you with the best options that will keep your cuts fresh and juicy longer.
So, it’s with great pleasure that we announce that we’ve retired our paper packaging, and from this day forward all meat will be vacuum sealed as part of our standard process – without any added cost!

Why?
Vacuum sealing your meat keeps it fresher longer. You can get an extra year of shelf life in the freezer, without having to worry about freezer burn. It’s also incredibly convenient and allows us to portion your meat into meal sizes so that you can consume your game one package at a time – at no extra cost.
All of our custom processing is done in Rosemary, but to make the process as simple as possible we also do pick ups and drop offs in Calgary.
Please be aware that it is your responsibility to follow all regulations while transporting meat to our shop. We don’t want you worrying about any check stops or fines along the way.
